Our Delacombe centre is located in a quiet estate, close to a brand-new shopping precinct. Caring for children from 6 weeks to kindergarten, our educators strive to make our centre feel like home for each family that walks through our doors.
Our spacious learning environments provide each child with an abundance of learning opportunities, reflecting our holistic approach to the care & education of each child, as an individual.
Our outdoor spaces allow children the time and space to connect with nature, providing each child with opportunities for unstructured play. Outdoor play is a part of everyday, allowing the children the opportunities to engage with their senses, as well as mentally, physically and socially challenging themselves.
Our on-site chef prepares a fresh, seasonal menu daily, reflecting the multicultural background of our families. Meals are served in our dining room, allowing children to engage in social interactions as they eat.
Hi, My name is Emma Scicluna.
I am a mum of two girls 2 and 6 and have recently moved to Ballarat to join the Brady Bunch Delacombe team.
I have been in the Early Childhood Education and Care industry for 9 years and hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have been a casual educator, a room leader in the Nursery, assistant educator in sessional Kindergarten and from here I was given the opportunity to work as a Director in training. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and after working in the industry for a long period of time and gaining the experience as a Director in Training I knew that I would one day love to be a Centre Director.
I strongly believe that all children have the right to be themselves and belong. I have experience working with children with additional needs and this gave me the tools to help ensure that all children are included and given the support they require. Building connections and relationships with children and their families is my main priority to ensure children feel safe, secure and supported.
I strive on having a welcoming environment and can’t wait to meet new families and children!
Our healthy and balanced fresh meals include a variety of fresh vegetables and legumes, seasonal fruit, whole grains and seeds, lean fresh meat and fish, dairy and gluten free options.
